A message from our Pastor

Welcome both members and guests. I would like to personally say hello as your pastor and let you know a little about my love for the Lord and my ministry focus for the Lord here at Mills Chapel Baptist Church .

I am in my fifth year as pastor and God is truly doing a wonderful work. We have been blessed to see God bring salvations, baptisms, answered prayers, and unity all in the first few years here at Mills Chapel.

While these are all fruits that excite me greatly, I am also very excited with those coming alongside to serve in ministry positions and utilize the gift God has blessed them with. As your pastor, I can sincerely say this church is a blessing and I count it an honor to serve the Lord in this wonderful church.

Someone once asked me “What makes you tick?” The answer is simple. His name is Jesus and He lives in my heart. The greatest truth found in this is He also lives in your heart as well, if you have trusted Him as Lord and Savior; and He has gifted you with abilities far above your imagination.

My goal as pastor is to first preach the Word and second to shepherd as God directs. Paul expresses the goal of a pastor in Ephesians 4 by showing the importance of training people to find their place in fulfilling the work of the ministry.
