I believe in being a part of fostering an environment in which people can freely worship the Lord and build connections with those around them while doing so. I am so thankful for the opportunity to serve our Lord with such an amazing group of believers.

MINISTRY DIRECTOR
Hello! My name is Shannan Smith and I serve as the Children's Director of Mill's Chapel Baptist Church. I am married to my amazing husband, Chuck and we have five children, three boys and two girls. I believe in creating a fun, loving, safe and positive atmosphere where children love to come and learn about Jesus. I was saved as a young girl and always looked forward to VBS, Awanas and other fun activities with our church group. I love spending time with my family and friends, planning parties and events, cooking, taking care of others and finding new places to visit.
I am a born again Christians who has been an active member of Mills Chapel since 1991 and have had a gospel music ministry since 1999. Gina retired in 2008 as a Legal Administrative Assistant from Delta Air Lines and enjoys cooking, crafting and writing monthly devotional and cooking articles for Christian Voice Magazine. I am the director of TNT, our 50+ ministry, where our goal is to lead the mature adult group in a fashion to magnify and glorify His name whether in devotions, outreach or just having fun. We want TNT to always be a good representation of our church when we are out around others.

Hello! My name is Rusty Russell. I serve as our Head of Deacons here at MCBC. I enjoy serving where I can make a difference. I enjoy speaking and sharing what God has placed on my heart, whether that be to our youth group in Sunday school and/ or Wednesday nights or our adult services. Some of my favorite hobbies include working out and bow and turkey hunting. I love being apart of MCBC and look forward to how God will continue to use us for His glory!

Hello Y'all. Growing up near Peachtree City, Georgia, my family opened and closed the doors of our church. I was baptized in 1983 at 13-years old. My family and I were led to Mills Chapel in 2016 by the bible focused ministry and the love the church body gives freely. As the Administration Director, I am called to help guide the business practices of the church. I also serve as the webmaster and information and technology manager; embracing new tools and technology to better reach the community.
Oh, and I love the Braves!

My name is Melissa West. I love Jesus, my Family, my Church, Music, and the Ministry. I am the wife (30 +yrs.) of a wonderful husband (Vince) and the Mother of 2 great adult children (Elizabeth, Alex). I have lived in Newnan and have been at Mills Chapel for 41 years. I serve as the church pianist (35 yrs.) and as the church administrative assistant (5 yrs.)
Best decision I ever made was when at 7 years old I ask Jesus to be my Lord and Savior.
My life verse is Galatians 2:20.

My name is Lisha Hunter Justiss, I serve as Financial Secretary here at Mills Chapel and have been a member for over 30 years. I have been married to my husband (Danny) for 40+ years ,who serves as a deacon here at Mills Chapel, we have two Children, 1 Daughter Jennifer (David) Humphries ,1 Son Joey ( Lindsay) Justiss, four grandchildren Kloie and Dalten Humphries; Walker, and Emma Rylee Justiss. I Love spending time with our family and friends. I have a passion for floral design and decorating. I was saved as a young girl and love helping and serving others.
