Hello! My name is Shannan Smith and I serve as the Children's Director of Mill's Chapel Baptist Church. I am married to my amazing husband, Chuck and we have five children, three boys and two girls. I believe in creating a fun, loving, safe and positive atmosphere where children love to come and learn about Jesus. I was saved as a young girl and always looked forward to VBS, Awanas and other fun activities with our church group. I love spending time with my family and friends, planning parties and events, cooking, taking care of others and finding new places to visit.
We are born again Christians who have been active members of Mills Chapel since 1991 and have had a gospel music ministry since 1999. Joe has been in law enforcement for 38 years and retired from Coweta County in 2013: however, was called back into part-time service in July 2019. My name is Elizabeth West. I have the blessing of serving here at Mills Chapel as the Women’s Ministry Director. I accepted Jesus at the age of 13. I attended Word of Life Bible Institute and graduated in 2014. In 2017, I completed my Bachelors of Science in Human Relations at Point University. I am now in school for my Masters of Arts in Professional Counseling. I love to sing, read, spend time with my family and friends, and spend time with Jesus. My biggest desire in life is to know God and make Him known.

Hello! My name is Rusty Russell. I serve as our Head of Deacons here at MCBC. I enjoy serving where I can make a difference. I enjoy speaking and sharing what God has placed on my heart, whether that be to our youth group in Sunday school and/ or Wednesday nights or our adult services. Some of my favorite hobbies include working out and bow and turkey hunting. I love being apart of MCBC and look forward to how God will continue to use us for His glory!
Hello Y'all. Growing up, my family opened and closed the doors of our church. I was baptized in 1983 at 13-years old. I've always loved on-site bible study/Sunday school. As the Sunday School Director, I am called to encourage others to bible study and community with our Christian families and all within the community. Through studying His Word we are able to better know our Lord Jesus Christ. Through participation in Sunday School, whether as a Leader or student, we gain lasting support and encouragement from our small groups throughout each week! Come be a part! I am the wife (30 +yrs.) of a wonderful husband (Vince) and the Mother of 2 great adult children (Elizabeth, Alex). I have lived in Newnan and have been at Mills Chapel for 41 years. I serve as the church pianist (35 yrs.) and as the church administrative assistant (5 yrs.)
Best decision I ever made was when at 7 years old I ask Jesus to be my Lord and Savior.

My name is Lisha Hunter Justiss, I serve as Financial Secretary here at Mills Chapel and have been a member for over 30 years. I have been married to my husband (Danny) for 40+ years ,who serves as a deacon here at Mills Chapel, we have two Children, 1 Daughter Jennifer (David) Humphries ,1 Son Joey ( Lindsay) Justiss, four grandchildren Kloie and Dalten Humphries; Walker, and Emma Rylee Justiss. I Love spending time with our family and friends. I have a passion for floral design and decorating. I was saved as a young girl and love helping and serving others.
